Yay it's an owlthing! \o\ /o/ \o\ /o/ \o\ /o/

I started this last year around Halloween, but lost time/motivation/inspiration/etc. to finish it, so now I finally got back to it and here it is.

I'm not Entirely sure what I was thinking here, possibly something like a very reversed gryphon... But that's okay 'cause owls are awesome like that.

Corel Painter 9, Wacom Intuos 3, a couple hours here and there.

May not be used in derivative works, absolutely no tubing/templates/etc.etc., may be put on a sandwich if you're not fraid of it eating your face off OMNOMNOM, may be reposted for as long as my name and link back to my gallery are provided along with it in a clear manner.

omg this is awesome :O

For some reason it reminds me of the Cheshire cat from the new Alice in Wonderland, probably the face.
I love how you have the spot of light that really attract the eye and grabs your attention, with such a dark background. It adds a wonderful touch to it, and don't even get me started on the texture and all those tiny teeth :D
