Lady Gaia, the soul of our planet, is a character that I like to play with in my art as well as imagination. There really is so much potential to her, because she is almost all that our lives are based upon. This painting is an attempt to explore the ideas of interconnectivity, natural cycles, slowly merging into infinity.

Tools: Corel Painter 8, Trust tablet.
Time taken: around 2 weeks or so.
Size: 5400x3900.

*Please* check out the detail shots - there's SO much lost in resizing that you're missing half the painting without checking the close-ups. The sad part is that the starfield mostly gets lost upon resizing, and I've no idea how to help that. :\

Edit, 29.07.05: I decided to annoy you by updating it a little. Seriously though, I fixed some anatomy bloopers (such as the arms which should now be both of the same length) as I'm planning to enter the image here and there. Wish me luck.
