Four dragons, four elements. Invisible titans all around you. But once you notice them, they never disappear.

A look at the bigger version and the detail shots is strongly suggested.

Wheeew, I'm so glad I'm done with this. Took more staring at bright orange colors than what was good for me. I submitted this picture to Exposé 3, so wish me luck. X)

A few notes:
*) Medium - Corel Painter 8 + Trust tablet
*) Time taken - too long. (A week? Longer? I've no sense of time.)
*) Background music - Stratovarius, Mystical Sun, Aura - The Source of Trance, Antinomie, Trance Control. See a trend? X)
*) Water has 6 wings - two for ice, two for water, two for steam.
*) The files are freakin' big, 'cause of the jpg compression method I picked to keep the oranges/reds at least Somewhat bearable. Jpg sucks with those colors.
*) It is not a coincidence that the staff has four chains and there are four dragons.
*) Orange is evil, evil...

Wow Liiga this is truly fantastic. Are you blind from working with those bright colors for so long? *laughs* I love the detail in this piece and can only imagine what it looks like full size. Very good indeed. *laughs* all though it should come with a warning so that noone goes blind from looking at it with out sun glasses. Just joking. I love it Liiga.

Wow, that is BEAUTIFUL!!! Those colors are so bright and wonderful, the light source is skillfully done :nod:. The musculature on the man is especially impressive. Just beautiful... :D

very beautiful i like how the dragons kinda hidden (took me awhile to spot air-was determined to find before looking at detailed shots ^^)

I love the concept and everything here looks beautiful.

BTW, can you tell me what kind of brushes you use in corel painter? I'm kinda new to digital painting and Corel Painter and I love how you paint with painter.

And last but not least.... I love this pic and I'm going to fav it right now!

woa O_O thats really amazing :heart: That air dragon is very well hidden ^^ i couldn't find him until i looked at the detail shots, and even then i was confused a bit x3 but thats cause im blind >>; anyways, this is really incredible :worship: i know i definately wouldn't be able to work that long on a piece, especially with all that orange x3 but again, amazing job :love:

Why the hell have you not gotten a DD yet? This is amazingly awesome and imaginative. This is seriously, crazy, mad. The lighting, the concept...everything was executed beautifully. I can only wish for the day when I can make a great piece of art like this.
