I don't want to belong,
I want to be part of.
I don't want to be one among many,
I want to be one with all.

Sometimes it seems like every
Man wants to belong.
Sometimes it seems like every
Woman wants to be lead.

I don't want to go seeking,
I want to create.
I don't yearn for leading,
I'll cooperate.

Sometimes a word has
Two thousand nuances.
Don't bother reflecting,
Reach into the core.

EarthPut your hand to face of Earth and listen,
and listen with your fingers as it thrives
as slowly breathes in through leafy greenness
and looks around with tiny violet eyes.

Feel the pulse of soft and caring giant
that can be strong in force as well as love
watch as it puts on countless robes radiant
of auroras, of rains, of million doves.

And as you stand and feel the hum beneath you
please know that earth will always listen back
it feels, it smells it understands - you have to
just see its soul beyond the earthly black.

Moonlight bridgeThe silence of night,
It rocks your craddle
Just like light
Penetrates darkness

To bring you a message
From Moon - invitation
To one-person waltz
Under the stars.

Make your steps silently
Just like a cat
The hunter grey-striped
Seeking for dawn.

On the moon's bridge in waves
Do not step though
For even fae's wings
Sometimes fall through.

InfiniteI'm sitting at extinguished fire
And thinking of the days be gone -
The days when sights rose somewhat higher,
When souls were feeling not so lone.

The dust from place where flames were dancing
The wind blows slowly out of sight.
So do my silent, seeking musings
Run off from reaches of the night.

To times below, to times of coming -
Like whirlpool they all pass by
Distraught by universe revolving
And reassured again by Light.

And just like dust again once settles -
So does my ever-yearning soul,
Lest lost it be in stretched-out nettles,
The masterpiece of human doubts.

One of the illustrations I did for the Winter Festival cards by Bella Sara back in spring of 2011.

This is Holiday, page of herd Elemyn. Even though the final card does have a background, it was provided afterwards and I didn't paint it, so here she is as I drew her, along with her trusty fairy companion. Even though I knew what the background scene would look like, I had no indication on where in it the little unicorn would be, so drawing the lighting in a way that would work regardless was interesting. (Not to mention the fact that she had somehow stand out against a rather snowy scene, despite being white.)

Corel Painter 9, Wacom Intuos 3, about a day, plus another day's worth of looking at cute little baby horses to figure out how they tick.
